Nigerians Musicians Rude Boy, Runtown and Falz finally broke history and leads the #EndSars protest physically on the street of Lagos.
This protest has been going on in Social Medias since Sunday 4th of October, 2020, the involved celebrities had also posted their displeasure on the matter.
But fans have challenged, Nigerian Celebrities to come out for physical protests and not seat in the comfort of their homes posting on Social medias.
And finally, these Africa and the world rated celebrities have accepted the challenge and today came out physically to protest against police brutality.
The live video which was posted in Rude Boy Instagram page and has received huge engagements from fans.
And almost immediately, news reporters surrounded the protest floor to interview them. Summarizing Rude boy’s interview he points out that:
This was the first time in history that celebrities have come out to physically protest things that are not right in Nigeria, and he especially thank Falz and Runtown for successfully planning the protest.
He also pinned the point that this was not a protest against the government but against police brutality, and that he needs solid assurance from Police if not the protest will continue till Tuesday next week (13th October 2020).
“No Audio Promises” according to him.
He calls out to other celebrities that promised to hold a physical protest also, that they should fulfil their promises and come out too.
We couldn’t get words from the other two celebrities Falz and Runtown because the live Video in Instagram was interrupted. But we know Falz to be the modern days Fela (Lyrically) how he uses his music to talk against bad governance and bad policies in Nigerians.
